Way to be a great mom!

We have all heard the story of the 'octomom', the woman who gave birth to eight children. They are all doing well and have finally been released from the hospital, but the mom is complaining. You see, she is not getting enough donations.

She had expected to have everything paid for, from the diapers and formula, to her rent payment and utilities. She has fallen very short of this reality. On a recent interview she had been quoted saying "I don't know why more people won't help me." A statement like that irritates the heck out of me. Does she have no idea what is going on in the world around her, or does she just not care? I'll bet half of her neighbors have lost a job, or have been foreclosed on, or some other tragedy due to our great economy right now. Yet, here is this woman complaining that she has not gotten enough free money for having kids. There are many, many people out there who are responsible enough to take care of their own families and are having trouble doing that. Why should everyone else pay for her family as well. More importantly, why is she not grateful for the donations she has received instead of throwing a fit about not getting enough? Way to be a mature and responsible role model for your kids! I guess it is time for mom to grow up.
